Treasure is a conceptual project inspired by Craft Victoria, which aims to develop a new conceptual activity for Craft Victoria to promote its philosophy and craft art.
Treasure is a virtual craft experience located at the Sandridge Bridge in the heart of Melbourne overlooking the Yarra River. The event features a series of unique glass display panels, which are made by ghosts representing the event's vision combined with fake mannequins' hands to display the current craft.
The concept was inspired by the vandalism of The Traveller public art at Sandridge Bridge in 2007, when at least 40 precious glass panels were vandalized. I used this as the concept to plan this event for Craft Victoria.
